The Klinikum Dritter Orden’s Gynaecology Clinic offers a broad spectrum of treatment, covering every gynaecological operation and conservative measure. Our specialist services are vaginal procedures, minimally invasive surgery, abdominal surgery, procedures to treat incontinence and prolapses. We have the latest diagnostic methods at our disposal for investigation prior to treatment. A special feature of the Gynaecology Clinic is our certified Breast Centre.
A key focus of the Klinikum Dritter Orden is on Obstetrics – our reputation in this field extends well beyond the borders of Bavaria. Our motto is: safety and emotional security. We do have the very latest medical technology but still attach importance to a human, family atmosphere when patients give birth.
A special feature of the clinic is that the Premature and Newborn Infant Intensive Care Ward is close to the Maternity Ward. The caesarean operating theatre is located directly in the maternity section. As a Level I Perinatal Centre we provide the best possible care for your child under one roof through our Gynaecology and Obstetrics Clinic, Paediatric and Youth Medicine Clinic and Paediatric Surgery Unit. We offer our parents-to-be numerous special consultation hours, for instance for pregnant women with a baby in the breech position.

Ultrasound:
Ultrasound and Doppler examinations are normally carried out by gynaecologists in general practice. We can also do them here in exceptional cases. Please note, however, that only qualified specialists are permitted to carry out what is termed a malformation ultrasound. Please enquire beforehand at Pregnant Outpatients when an examination can be carried out. As the Maternity Department doctors carry out these examinations in addition to their maternity work, in some cases waiting periods are to be expected.
