Psycho-oncology Unit
Psycho-oncology is a relatively new branch of clinical Psychology and Psychotherapy. Its aim is to help cancer patients come to terms with their disease process, and together with them improve their quality of life. Where possible family members are included in the therapy. The Klinikum Dritter Orden has trained psycho-oncologists offering advice and assistance with tumour diseases.
