Paediatric Clinic Social Medicine Aftercare Unit
The interdisciplinary team of the "Dritter Orden Paediatric Clinic Bunter Kreis” Social Medicine Aftercare Unit offers holistic help to seriously ill and chronically sick children and to premature infants and their families.
Their aim is to help families in the transition from hospitalisation in the Paediatric Clinic to home, to cope with their daily routine with their silk child or their child still needing special care. In its discharge management the Social Medicine Aftercare Unit team provides assistance with matters relating to care, medicine and social legislation. Specially trained paediatric nurses advise families on coping with the sick child at home.
